
The GWALARN bears on its handle a central mitre of mosaic damask, showing the coat of arms of Brittany, hand-forged by the damask smith Philippe Ricard. The coat of arms dates back to the Duc de Bretagne of 1215 and symbolises the white ermine coat with black tail tips. The knives today called "LONDON" are so deeply rooted in Breton culture that we gave this model the name GWALARN. We manufacture it in our workshop exclusively with blades made of high-performance steel RWL34.
