Le THIERS® Liérande created by the young cutler Geoffroy Gautier is an ultra-light and flat Thiers knife for everyday use. Its concept is completely new, its design a real eye-catcher. The functional principle is patented. It has been approved by the Jurande du Couté de Tié and is authorised to carry the official logo. The innovative handle is made from a single piece of steel, intelligently laser-cut and folded. The blade locking system is the result of long development work. The locking system works according to the ‘cran forcé’ principle, unlocking by pressing the patented locking system on the back of the knife. As the blades are locked very securely, unlike other locks, they cannot be loosened even by violent tapping. Closing the knife therefore requires strong hands ... which should be tested before purchase.
