The POISSON-CULOT is a pocketknife with maritime roots featuring a steel plate at its handle end instead of a bolster, which can be personalised with initials or used as a pipe tamper. We produce it in our atelier with exclusive precious woods and either with or without a medal ‘Faith-Love-Hope’, a wish given to sailors and travellers on their way. The contact of the blade with the spring is prevented by poncetage. The blade is also characterised by a distinctive swedge ‘à l'entablure’ which, together with the nail nick, give a refined elegance.
