Product information "Grand-ALPIN PassionFrance® LUXE11cm, Design RB mof², XC75, stabilized buck elder burl"

The Grand-ALPIN was designed in 2017 by the 2-time ‘Meilleur Ouvrier de France’ Robert Beillonnet for PassionFrance®, his design is protected. With its handle length of 11cm it is perfect for (almost) all opportunities. We manufacture it 100% by hand in our atelier in Thiers with elaborate constructive and functional details. This model with handle scales made from an exceptionally rare lot of stabilized buck elder burl from #nowawood is a special edition that we have combined with blades of the finest XC75 carbon steel. This steel offers unrivalled sharpness over a long time. It will grey slightly over time and than perfectly harmonise with the dark handle. It is a knife for both, advanced connoisseurs and beginners in the world of carbon steel blades.
